Dear Colleagues,
As we approach one of the most contentious presidential elections in modern history, our nation is grappling with unprecedented political tensions. As leaders, we have an obligation to step back and ask ourselves what has gone wrong and, more importantly, how we can fix it. The best way we can help lower the temperature of our politics and restore public trust in our institutions is toensure that the people have more say in the laws that govern their lives. We have a once-in-ageneration opportunity to do so with the upcoming election for our Senate Republican leadership.
